Lisa was born in the Marshall Islands where her father served in the US Navy. The islands are close associates of the US located in the Pacific though the islands itself are independent of US governance. There is a presence of military there due to its geographic location. Her parents’ relationship didn’t last long, and she soon moved to Hawaii with her mother.

She grew up in Hawaii, and then turned back to the main continent as she settled with her mother in Los Angeles – her mother had a lot of problems as she grew up, mainly stemming from an addiction to alcohol. The show is set in a fictional town, following several families who are headed by professionals in the medical and legal fields.

Following her work there which lasted for around three years, Lisa then had a series of horror films, which were her last projects. In 1987 she starred in “Blood Frenzy” which was directed by Hal Freeman, and tells the story of a psychiatrist who goes on a trip with patients as a part of therapy when they are stalked by a serial killer. Her final film was the 1988 slasher “Iced” which also starred Debra De Liso, Doug Stevenson, and Elizabeth Gorcey, in the story of a group of friends who receive an invitation to an isolated ski resort, where they are then targeted by a killer.

Later Career and Jerry Butler

Before retiring from acting, Loring worked as a make-up artist to make ends meet. She also did a bit of writing, but found her stride working in the adult industry as part of the production crew for pornographic films. While working there she met and started a relationship with pornographic actor Jerry Butler, whom she had first worked with on the set of “Traci’s Big Dick”. The two later married, and she was initially fine with his continued activity in the porn industry as he was no longer working as an actor.

However, over the years, his involvement started to wear her down, and Butler began secretly performing in several porn shoots without her consent.

In the 1990s she appeared in the show “Dateline NBC” alongside her husband, where he expressed that he was ashamed of his behavior and that he had become addicted to his life in porn. The two also appeared in the “Sally Jessy Raphael Show”, where Loring threatened that their marriage was breaking apart. The two eventually divorced, and that was the final straw that led him to leave the porn industry for good.

Personal Life

Before meeting and marry Butler, Lisa’s first notable relationship was with Farrell Foumberg, a childhood sweetheart whom she had a daughter with when she was only 15 years old.

The two married before their daughter’s birth, but only stayed together for a year. She met her next husband in the late-1970s, actor Doug Stevenson who was known for his work in the soap “Search for Tomorrow” – they also had a child, but their marriage only lasted for two years. After her documented problems with Butler, they divorced in 1992 following five years of marriage. She was out of the spotlight for many years, but in 2003, it was announced that she had married Graham Rich. They reportedly separated in 2008 but didn’t file a divorce until sometime in 2014.
